How does it work?
To use Pwoint.me simply send a tweet to @pwointer in form of "some text at an address" like this:
@pwointer Going to Sens vs. Sabres Dec 16 at 1000 palladium dr. kanata ontario
and it will send you back a tweet* that looks like this:
@andrewdraper Your map is ready at http://pwoint.me/g218TpYar9v3
The key is to include ' at ' in your tweet so @pwointer knows you've included an address.
When people that follow you click on the link in your tweet they'll not only see a map with a marker on it at the location you specified but they'll also be able to get directions to/from that location.
Pwoint.me is a Twitter bot that will tweet you a link to a map of any location you send it.
Some possible uses include: letting your friends know where you're going to be, telling people where an event is, letting people know where you saw something...I think you get the idea.
